Meet Edmonton based radical Imam Shaban Sherif Mady:
- In a Feb. 16th sermon that echos the sentiments of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, our Canadian Imam Mady is looking forward to the conquering of Rome, “the very heart of the Christian state”.
“But some prophecies have not come true yet. Look forward to it, because the Prophet Muhammad said that Rome would be conquered!” (Shaban Sherif Mady, 2016-02-16)
“Mad Mady” has a history of extremist rhetoric that has been documented by the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada:
“An Imam from Edmonton, Alberta Shaban Sherif Mady from Egypt was exposed on Canadian TV as a radical priest who showed his support for Muslim Brotherhood, he declared his support for mujahideens at the end of his sermon.
He later wanted an apology for calling him radical but the fact remains that his sermon was propagating violence. He had an audience of young men who were listening to him with rapture; this is a very worrying scenario for Canada. There are many like him who in their sermons openly announces their support for jihad and terrorist organizations. So more than a few times, Imams themselves have been the radicalizing force…”
That video is here:
Imam Shaban Sherif Mady also likes to display his affection for terrorists on facebook where he openly endorses Hamas (a designated terrorist organization), and their founding Muslim Brotherhood leader Hassan Al-Bana (shown in poster):
In another sermon at Glengarry Hall in Edmonton, Shaban Sherif Mady had more to say about the Muslim Brotherhood:
“Why (the Muslim Brotherhood movement was designated as) a terrorist organization? Because it calls for the return of the Caliphate (Islamic State). If so, I’m an operative of the Muslim Brotherhood, I’m a terrorist… (O Allah) to those who want to harm Islam and the Muslims, make their animosity annihilate themselves, make them kill themselves, destroy them completely, annihilate them all, like you did to the peoples of A’d and Thamoud… ”
“O Allah, support any mujaheed (jihadist) who raises the flag of Islam.”
